Digital Awareness UK is a leading digital wellbeing organisation working with schools and organisations (from Microsoft to Vodafone to the United Nations) around the world, empowering young people to use technology safely. We deliver inspiring school programmes and create engaging content with partners that has educated millions of students, parents and teachers about topics ranging from sexing and grooming to entrepreneurship and addiction.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to take on a pivotal role in planning for and overseeing the delivery of a number of high profile client projects - from website builds to video production to webinar events to social media content.

Operating within a small team, they will organise multiple people, tasks and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Job Description

  • Developing project plans, timelines and budgets
  • Managing project scope
  • Scoping out client briefs and drafting proposals
  • Assigning tasks and deadlines
  • Scheduling and attending status meetings and providing updates
  • Working alongside content creators (web, photography, video and design) to plan for and produce ad-hoc tactical campaigns

Attributes & Skills

  • Not essential but it helps to have experience within the digital wellbeing, online safety or digital literacy space
  • Ideally your experience will be gained from a creative, marketing, PR or digital agency
  • Proven experience delivering website build and video campaigns on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication skills (particularly on email, phone and via video calls)
  • A self-starter who's a collaborative and adaptive worker
  • Ability to work under pressure while producing high-quality work
  • Most importantly enthusiasm for our cause - to empower people to use technology positively!

Online Safety Webinar Trainer

Employment type: Part time, 3 - 5 evenings per week (pending delivery schedule)

Location: Remote working

Salary: Hourly rate. Competitive and negotiable based upon skills and experience

Period: Renewable 12 month fixed term contract

Start date: December 2020

Job Overview

Digital Awareness UK deliver webinars to young people, parents and carers to give them the skills they need to use technology safely.

We are looking for a new team member, with exceptional presenting skills to plan, design and deliver webinars to this audience. Webinars are approximately one hour long. We will work with the candidate to agree on delivery schedule.

Job Description

  • Develop and update existing presentations to ensure they are reflective of current online safety and digital wellbeing trends
  • Deliver live and interactive online safety webinars that include a 15 minute Q&A
  • Update Digital Awareness UK team members on event success and any questions raised post-delivery

Attributes & Skills

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality training (both via webinar and in-person)
  • A positive, engaging and approachable presentation style
  • Experience working in the digital wellbeing or online safety space
  • Ability to create educational content and confidently answer questions about using technology safely and responsibly
