Online Safety Presenter & Researcher

About the role: Do you live and breathe social media? Are you passionate about working with young people? If yes, then come and work with Digital Awareness UK (DAUK), a fast growing and innovative organisation that empowers young people to be safe online and combat issues such as online bullying, sexting and hacking.
DAUK have a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy presenter to join its award-winning team of YouTubers, bloggers and social media specialists to deliver workshops and assemblies about how to protect themselves from online risk.
This role will require you to confidently and passionately present to young people in predominantly London-based senior schools but also across the UK. DAUK tackle issues such as online bullying, sexting, security & privacy, digital footprint and more head on and in away that engages and challenges young minds. You will have a pivotal role, using your
knowledge to support the development and delivery of our award-wining programmes to young people, parents and teachers. Training will be provided to ensure the presenter is confident and knowledgeable.

Skills & experience:
Someone with extensive experience in working in all areas of technology - From YouTubers to bloggers to security specialists to developers. Our students love hearing about interesting careers in tech so this is key
Highly proficient in presenting to large groups of people with excellent verbal communication skills
Ideally they will have experience working with children
Highly organised with strong time-management skills
Most importantly, lots of experience in the use of social media!
