For many of us, mobile phones have been our lifeline during the COVID-19 pandemic - news alerts, WhatsApp chat, family connectivity and TikTok to name a few. But this can also mean our screen time is ticking up, making it tricky to find balance. So maybe it's time to reach back for our old school landlines to help us switch off.
Sleep is essential - so if you find yourself snuggling up to your phone at bedtime, you could always let your loved ones know that during the night they can reach you on your landline in an emergency. With your phone safely out of sight at night you can hopefully get some good quality zzzzz's.
